Ki Chi Saga days is a citywide celebration in August of each year. On Saturday of the Ki Chi Saga weekend, the park in Chisago City is filled with food vendors, craft vendors, live music and us! Maranatha Chisago has a henna tattoo artist come in to our booth and pay her to give free henna tattoos all day long to people who attend the Ki Chi Saga event. We just want to bless the community. Some people believe the church is just after your money. We want to let the community know that we are there for them. Ki Chi Saga days is a citywide, weekend long, celebration in August of each year. On Saturday morning, Maranatha in Chisago City hosts a skateboard competition at the local skate park. Ki Chi Saga Days Parade
Ki Chi Saga days is a citywide celebration in August of each year. The annual parade is a fun time where we as a church enjoy walking in the event parade singing music and passing out loads of candy. If you would like to participate in this community event, please email bill@realchurch.org.
Options For Women
Options for Women is an organization that helps women who are in need or crisis. We partner with them on a regular basis. They ask us to fill baby bottles with change and our congregation participates whole heartedly. The Local Food Shelf Drive
Maranatha Chisago partners with our local food shelf throughout the year. In 2014 we collected over 400 Suddenly Salads to add to their Thanksgiving baskets for families with needs. In 2015 they asked us for green bean casserole ingredients. So we collected 175 cans of cream of mushroom soup, 175 cans of French fried onions, and 350 cans of green beans. In 2017 we partnered with them by collecting over 175 cans of fruit cocktail and over 175 boxes of jello to be included in their Easter meal baskets. Our Maranatha Chisago congregation loves helping people in the community and this really becomes a fun challenge. Please email Pastor Bill at bill@realchurch.org for more information.
